When a building has a variety of Façade elements it can be difficult to find the multi faceted skills required to find solutions, particularly if there is any concern that the provided structure may present its own challenges. RTS has experienced these challenges many times.Rapide Technical Services were commissioned to survey the structure as it was erected, establish control datums for the installation and provide a complete envelope design, comprising of Schuco curtain walling, AME aluminium rainscreen cladding, Bespoke shuffle glazing, Reglit glazing, secondary steelwork, cappings, soffits and pressed metal elements, for this prominent part of the Westfield's Stratford City Development. Situated opposite the main entrance to Stratford International train station this building greets you as you enter the Westfield Complex.
With the Olympics transforming a little known part of London into a household name around the whole world, RTS are proud to have been part of the Stratford development and this was the third building on this development for which RTS undertook Survey and Design works under extreme pressure to complete prior to the London Olympics in 2012.
